Event Rules:
Teams are to be made of 2-4 individuals. There will be no option for 1 man teams
Each team must stick together while hunting, no splitting up to run multiple stands at one time
Team captains are to record the tagging process with cell phones to submit to board after harvest. Instructions on what is to be recorded is listed later in the rules
All hunters are required to sign an electronic waiver prior to the start of the tournament.
Any hunter under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent and be hunting with someone over the age of 18
At least 1 member from each team must be present during awards to win, if no members are present when awards are given, the award will be passed onto the next team
All coyotes and bobcats must be killed within the states of Kansas or Missouri
All participants must have a valid hunting license for the state they are harvesting animals in
All KDWP and MDC rules and regulations must be followed at all times
No hunting dogs allows
No use of foot, live, or snare traps allowed
No running or pushing dogs with ATVs, UTVs, etc
Use of drones for any part of the harvest is not allowed
Thermal and/or night vision is allowed
Calling, stalking, and baiting are allowed within state regulations
High fence ranches, game preserves, hunting clubs, etc are not allowed
All hunting must be conducted in fair chase
All dogs and bobcats wishing to be included in the final count must be brought to weigh ins
All teams must be in line to weigh in between the times of 5:30pm and 6:00pm on the day of weigh ins. A 15 minute grace period will be allocated if a call is made to board member prior to 6pm
All teams are responsible for the ethical and legal disposal of the animal carcasses
Entry fees are non-refundable
Veterans Outdoors Foundation is not liable for injuries, or any fines received if a team is to be found guilty of not following Kansas or Missouri hunting regulations
Teams with the most coyotes harvested will win, if there is a tie it will be broken by total weight
The number of harvests during the tournament will not be revealed by Veterans Outdoors Foundation until the end of the tournament
There will be TWO DIFFERENT CLASSES
24 Hour Hunt: Friday, January 9th, 2026 at 6pm to Saturday January 10th, 2026 at 6pm
IronMan Hunt: Thursday January 8th, 2026 6pm to Saturday January 10th, 2026 at 6pm
For the 24 Hour Hunt:
$200.00/Team Registration
Payouts are as follows: 60% Winner / 40% Veterans Outdoors Foundation
First Place: 30%
Second Place: 20%
Third Place: 10%
In Person Registration Will Be Available on Friday January 9th from 4:30pm to 6:00pm
Online Registration will end at Midnight on Thursday January 8th
For the Ironman Hunt
$500/team Registration
Payout information will be made available closer to event. Will be determined by number of teams registered
10 Team Minimum Registration for Guaranteed $2,000 Payout for 1st Place, $1,000 for 2nd Place, $500 for 3rd Place
Winnings Will Increase with More Team Involvement
There will be NO in person registration made available
Registration for the event will close midnight on January 1st, 2026.
